Maybe it's just me, but I can't really justify ~750MB of my harddrive and bandwith for a 10 minute experience. This isn't just a "Troxy Studios" issue, but it seems the large majority of indie devs these days have no concept of what file size optimization is. It looks like it could be neat, but I'm certain the size of this could be cut back considerably with a little tweaking. Such a large file for such a short experience really dissuades me from giving this a go.
This game demo had a unique premise, but if you are expecting a horror game there is hardly any horror in it. My friends and I played this for a Random Horror Games video and enjoyed what we played. Although like we said in our video, this demo felt like more of a thriller/puzzle game.
A really intriguing and interesting game with some great atmospherics and visual effects, i can not wait to see how the story evolves as there are so many theories you can fit into this and there is a lot open to interpretation, this game has potential to break the fourth wall too adding to the ominous overtone the game carries, a very nice and enjoyable playthrough.
Call me intrigued. Like many before me, I found myself wishing there was more content in the demo, but that speaks to the power of a good trailer: it gives you just enough to leave you wanting more. I personally do not care for trailers that show the best parts of the movie (like when you see the best jokes for a comedy in the trailer and then give that awkward half laugh when you see it in theaters because you've heard the joke already), so I think you did a fantastic job of crafting suspense while still managing to keep the larger parts of the story (and the scares for that matter) hidden. Thanks and can't wait for the full version!
I loved this! Wish there was more to the demo, but hey, that's the point of the demo lol. I felt like I was being watched the whole time, there's such a mystery, it makes me want more. You have a way of bringing suspense, and the sudden jumpscares weren't cheap shots, they were earned. I am in love with this game and my god, I will pay for the full game, just give me more! YOU GET SOME INFO BUT, IT WASN'T ENOUGH TO GET ANY TYPE OF REACTION FROM ME. LIKE I SAID, MAYBE I MISSED SOMETHING. I APPRECIATE THE EFFORT PUT INTO IT AND I INVITE YOU TO TRY IT FOR YOURSELF.
